Got married just before graduating from Sam Houston State. BA in English, minored in secondary education. Then decided to pursue neither of those fields. Joined the Army as an Arabic linguist instead. Spent 10 years in the military, then moved back to Kingwood to coach/teach at Creekwood Middle School.
