Since graduating, I earned my BS in Kinesiology in 2015 and my Master’s in Athletic Training in 2017 from the University of Houston. I then moved to Fort Worth to complete a post-professional residency program in orthopedic rehabilitation with Texas Health Sports Medicine. Following this, I pursued a PhD in Kinesiology, Exercise Nutrition, and Health Promotion at Baylor University, which I successfully completed in 2021.
In the same year, I married my husband, Blake, and we moved back to Fort Worth, where I began my first full-time faculty position at TCU, serving from 2021 to 2024. In August 2024, we returned to Houston after I accepted a position as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Houston.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, friends, and our two fur children: Graycie, a 5-year-old cat, and Shadow, a 3-year-old Australian shepherd. As Houston natives, my husband and I are thrilled to be back in the area, reconnecting with old friends and spending more time with family.
